These folks came through in a pinch! They were able to fit us into their boarding facility without notice due to our previous plans for boarding falling apart today. They have always been top notch medical care and now I will check off the over the top accomodating box! Thanks guys!
In an instance I went from driving home from work to seeing 2 dogs sprint directly into my car. Pulling over I ran to their assistance to asses the injuries. I knew that one of the dogs injuries were fatal and the other pet had fled to the opposite side of the busy road. Trying to keep the fatally injured dog calm while grabbing the ID tags to call the owner. I tried to hold it together, but tears began to fall as I told the owner that both the dogs were severely injured. While I was on the phone a woman, who pulled over to help, pointed to Chattahoochee Animal Clinic in the distance and I shouted to run to the clinic for help.
The care at this facility was great. Dr. Smith was very thorough with his exam and recommendations to help my dog through his latest gut issue. The staff walked me through the plan step by step and made sure I had no unanswered questions. I wish my own doctor's office had this kind of bedside manner! Definitely a place I will recommend to others.
Dr. Marcus Smith was first on the scene and without any hesitation he and his assistant rushed the dog into the clinic. When inside Chattahoochee Animal Clinic, the amazing staff quickly came to my aid with kind words, tissues, and a cup of water. They even encouraged me to have my dog checked out to make sure he was ok! After assuring me my dog was fine, they consistently checked in on me until I was ok to leave. Before I left, Dr. Smith came in and gently went over the possible causes for the injured dogs passing, and he assured me that I'd done everything I could've. I was astounded, here I was a non-paying customer and they treated me as if I were a part of their clinic family. That truly speaks to what kind of culture Chattahoochee Animal Clinic has and I can't thank the entire staff enough for their sympathy and kind words. Thank you for making a difficult situation a little bit easier.
Since I can remember I've been an avid animal lover. Choosing my career to assist veterinarians save animals life's. Recently I was one of the reasons an animal was injured and subsequently passed on.
This place is the BEST! They have taken wonderful care of my dog Jack since we moved to Georgia and now they're taking amazing care of our new puppy, Jill. Jill has had a few ongoing issues since we got her from the shelter and they've been nothing but helpful and compassionate as we are getting her healthy! They are always very busy at the clinic but they still manage to give both of my fur babies all of their attention when we go in. If you consider your pets your family, this is the place you need to go!
