My wife and I have purchased two Yeti mountain bikes from Shawn at Fresh Bike Service. Shawn was patient as I asked questions and demoed a few bikes. Now a year later we love the bikes. Yeti makes great bikes, but I've been a serious mountain biker for over 15 years and I have learned that the quality of the shop and service is probably more important than the bike itself. Fresh Bike Service is a great bike shop. I had a couple of issues with my bike and Shawn quickly took care of it with Yeti and Fox. We have now had two major maintenace services with our bikes. This is not a quick tune up. They go through the whole bike and adjust and replace what needs replacing. Recently they noticed my brake pads were worn and replaced them as well as some clogged presta valves. The bikes also came back so clean they looked new. Just rode my SB5 and it is riding just like it did when it was brand new. Mountain biking is an investment and using a good shop really pays off. Bottom line is this is a shop that you can trust. Shawn loves mountain biking and serving his customers and it shows.

They are conveniently located at the south entrance to Big Creek path & Mtn bike trails. Their name says "Service". Stopped in because my Avid Mtn bike brake was sticking. They recognized the issue, had the tools but could not perform while you wait service because "they might have walk in traffic." Um, my brother & I on $9,000 worth of bikes are walk in traffic & we were the only customers in the store! Missed our ride, fixed the problem at home. Thank you for no Service Fresh.
I wanted to buy a "decent" bike for my 8 year old after a series of Toys R Us specials and even though I wasn't looking at high-end expensive bikes, Jack who helped me and Shawn (owner) treated us as though we were just as important as someone buying a high-end a carbon fiber mt. bike. When the bike came in, it ended up being a little bit big for my son and there was absolutely no problem returning it (we never rode it outside) and ordering the next size down. Great atmosphere and great to see a local business that treats customers right growing and thriving. I am glad to see that every single review on Google is 5 stars, because that was my experience over the course of multiple visits as well. Thanks!
