Affordable and good quality. The service was great and friendly. Seats are super comfy too.
It’s a great place if you want to a movie best in the state. The employees are great and nice. The food is pretty good not the best food. The MTX theater is so big and good sound.
Took my family here to see her movie CoCo on 11/22. We ate and ordered deserts. We never got desserts. After the movie I told the on duty manager. He offered an apology and said that our server had to leave early. We turned around and there she was.
This is the only theater we go to and we come here often. The place is huge, always clean and their MTX has reclining plush seats and is worth the extra $. Service is great. -1 star because the food is terrible. We really tried to like the food here because that's supposed to be half of the experience. A coke is $5, bar drinks are weak, the food is over priced and it simply doesn't taste good. There's also no consistency in the food, it's a little different every time. The restaurants nearby are much better. We keep coming here because even though the food is bad, the theater itself is luxurious and is worth driving out of your way for.
We visit often but we're very disappointed with the service and manger's handling of this.
Our first visit to Movie Tavern was great! We bought our tickets in advanced so we got right in. The seats were very comfortable and the leg room is amazing. Keeping with the usual movie theater prices, our bucket of popcorn and a drink was $14. My one complaint was it took the staff literally 20 minutes to refill our drink. Besides that, good experience.
