Roswell's only locally owned movie theater! There's always something fun going on at Aurora, with great deals on weekdays and plenty of showings on weekends. They do their own version of retro movie nights, which is really nice. They've recently added Indian movies. Food and tickets are dirt cheap compared to the major chains, with evening tickets usually clocking in at $9 per adult and $6.50 for kids and seniors. Matinees are even cheaper! Aurora is a great chance to take the whole family out without feeling like you need to mortgage the house first. As a bonus, there's also mini-golf right outside. Overall, I can't think of enough great things to say about Aurora Cineplex.
Furthermore, the theater possessed an unpleasant smell. After having such a poor experience within the first ten minutes of being there, I decided to leave. I definitely will not ever visit this theater again. First, and last time.
This place is amazing! They have the best everything... service, snacks, seats, bathrooms, amenities, you name it. Best prices too. Very family friendly.

I am a frequent movie goer, and this is the only time that I've had to deal with something like this. If there is an actual policy, then it needs to be visibly posted within the establishment and on the website. To automatically assume that someone is in the wrong...is wrong! I asked three separate employees what the policy is, and they all had different responses.
Terrible first experience. The Supervisor was rude and nonchalant. This is the first and only movie theater that I've been to that supposedly has an unwritten "bag policy". I carry my medications and machine with me everywhere I go just in case an emergency arises.
The Supervisor approached me saying that I could not bring my backpack in the theater. He didn't ask to check it or even inquire about what was in it. He automatically suspected that I had food, liquor or other contents in the bag. In addition, I was told it is also to prevent people from bringing in weapons.
Held a bday party at Aurora and the experience was excellent. Everyone has a nice time. Wendy and Libby took great care of us and attended to the details. Would recommend to friends.
I think if this place is going to allow hundreds of kids from schools coming out on their field trip to play that everybody else should be able to play for free my five year old daughter and I were attempting to play while all these kids were behind us telling us to hurry up and playing on our course while we were trying to play and the teachers did nothing when I was able to find one to explain how rude they were being. With that being said we got through half a course when we decided to call it quits. I thank God my daughter is sweet and polite and does not have the manners of a goat.
