The waitress sat us down we waited for 15 minutes seen a whole bunch of waitresses pass us by not once did they stop to take care of our table. After 15 minutes of waiting for them to take our drink order and no one came by we decided to walk out. I can understand if they are busy and have a crowd but it was during their slow peak hours before dinner. They had no more than 15 cars in their parking lot. My family and I will not be coming back to this location ever again.
First off let me say my sever Andrew was beyond amazing. The food was beautiful and delicious. I got to try a FREE sample of wine and I chose the sweet red wine, and it was refreshing, light, and sweet. The perfect way to start my journey into the food coma I now have. Also they have Vegan options which is near to my heart so I was happy I got to indulge in the rich goodness.
There was a urine/bathroom odor upon entering the restaurant. The smell was loud and noticeable enough that I had to bring it to a manager attention. There was a guy in a red chef jacket that I was told was the mgr. However I think he was the senior or head chef, not the mgr or owner. I could be wrong though. Whatever the case he was very nice.
Anyway, my food wasn't up to par. I ordered the Lobster ravioli and the steak Gorgonzola. The Lobster ravioli seemed to be cooked properly but the taste wasn't hitting the spot for me. The steak Gorgonzola pasta was horrible. I've had it before in the past and tonight it wasn't good. It was very watery the sauce didn't have that Gorgonzola taste. They did cook the steak to medium temperature as I requested but the watery sauce ruined the whole dish. I was disappointed and still hungry. Thank Goodness I ordered dessert so I had fill my belly with soup and cheese cake to feel full. $51.00 meal totally NOT worth the price.
I give two stars only because of the friendly customer service.
Service was good. Minestrone was good, if not quite hot enough. The salad was good - the second salad bowl was better than the first!
This place has gone downhill and in need of a remodel. The staff is absent and the food does not look that great when it comes out. If you want a bottomless salad give it a shot, otherwise head next door to Buckhead diner.
