I've eaten here twice and both times it's been underwhelming and generally not good. The burgers are just ok, kind of tasteless and rubbery compared to similar restaurants. Buns are immediately soggy if you have any condiments on your burger. The fries are flavorful but soggy. The Brussels sprouts are swimming in grease. The fried okra's tasteless. And so on. Do yourself a favor and go to Lucky's or The Counter instead.
I've eaten here several times and I can't get enough of this place. The burgers have so much flavor, the environment is so relaxed, and the staff members are very friendly. By far the best burgers I've ever had
An enjoyable, relaxed experience. The waiter was kind and quick, doing an excellent job. First impression was that the restaurant was small but very clean and felt open. I was only confused with the decor but that isn't an issue. The food was delicious and was served quickly. I received the bacon and cheese burger to find that it was juicy and had lots of flavor! I was pleased and will be returning.
I did get a chance to talk with one of the owners. We discussed everything I commented on previously. She indicated that by February next year it will be a completelydifferent experience. Given this, I give it 2 stars, and will reevaluate next year.
Now to the fries. They looked great, but we're also not special. They were soggy, and the pesto sauce was not very flavorful.
I have had the Korean burger and the Saltimbocca burger here. Both were awesome! This is a great hole in the wall! The fries aren't as crispy as I'd like buy everything else is great.
They only had 5 beers on tap. They had wine, but very cheap brands.
This is a place in transition. I went about 2pm for a late lunch. Also wanted to see what they were like without stress. They did not even come close to hitting the mark.
Now for the facility itself. I sat at the bar, and there was a window exposing the kitchen. This is a bad idea. I got to see my food cooked, my dishes cleaned, and an employee eating lunch. Didn't need to see any if that. The decor is dated, and there is ongoing construction.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and sea salt fries. I ordered the burger medium rare. At best it came a touch below well done. The burger was juicy, and the sauce they provide did add flavor. 3 pieces of bacon (actually 1.5 normal strips), fresh tomatoe, and red onion. Bun was not toasted. All in all, ho hum. The big seasoning was salt.
